„Zsófia Sivák (b. 1993, Eger) is a photographer and art teacher based in Hungary. She earned her degree in photography at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design in 2019 and currently works as both a freelance photographer and lecturer.
Her work primarily focuses on documentary photography, emphasizing long-term collaborations with communities. She captures everyday life with an objective eye while allowing space for personal interpretation. Her series often explore rural life, shaped by her own experiences.
Having grown up in a small village in Eastern Hungary before moving to Budapest for her studies, Sivák developed a more systematic and observational approach to her surroundings, which continues to influence her photographic practice today.”
